Nathan Schmidt - Financial Advisor
I began my own ventures in the finance world at 18 years old in my college dorm room. That little hobby eventually grew into something bigger than I imagined; I got hooked on trading and dove into the world of investments. I started learning to code and began writing my own algorithms for trading. This was a very enjoyable and exciting time for me and was the subsequent reasoning for me to leave college to continue to pursue financial trading. I spent 7 years trading and was very successful, but I always felt like the meaning behind my work was missing. I want to serve people to the best of my abilities and help them with an important and often complicated part of their lives. That is why in 2019 I decided to join the team at Macco Financial. I concluded that building relationships and helping others is where I find my joy. Doing so as a financial advisor is a great responsibility and one that I do not bear lightly.
The business of helping others with their finances is a very personal experience where I have the privilege of learning about you, what is happening in your life, and what lights your fire. Your life is valuable, and I would love to be a part of adding value to it. I believe that the best financial behaviors can be learned and taught, no matter your age or current finances. And it is never too early and never too late to learn how to make wise financial decisions. That’s why I chose to become a financial advisor. To help people.
I have a passionate faith life that pushes and grows me to learn more about myself and others. I attend a wonderful church called Jacobs Well that is a huge blessing to me. Some of my interests include running, hiking, developing computer programs, and reading!
