Paraplanner

My interest in financial planning began during my senior year of high school while figuring out how I was going to pay for college. Although I had started working at a young age, and even saved up enough to buy my first car by myself, navigating the cost of college, and the expenses that came with it, was the first time I truly put together a plan for my finances. Although I began college at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay undecided, it didn’t take long to realize that a career in financial planning combined several of the things I valued most, like helping others, and creating structured plans to make the stressful parts of life feel less overwhelming. It also puts my knack for creating well designed spreadsheets to use!

While attending UW-Green Bay, I also pursued my passion for dance as a member of the dance team. For others looking in, being a part of the team may look like wearing sparkly costumes and cheering on the university basketball teams. For me, this experience was much more than that. Through collegiate dance, I gained valuable experience in building strong connections, handling critical conversations, problem solving, managing my time, and endless perseverance. All of these skills have directly translated into my work in financial planning. I now continue to stay involved with the team through a coaching role.

Being someone who seeks improvement and growth in all facets of life, I decided to dip my toes into entrepreneurship by starting a small cleaning company at 19 years old. Having my own company was a way for me to take control of not only my income throughout college, but create flexibility in my schedule to take on other commitments such as a collegiate sport. I continue to operate this company today with one employee, though I doubt my ambition will let it stop there.

In January 2025, I joined Macco Financial Group as a Financial Planning Intern, and as of May 2026, I transitioned into a full-time Paraplanner role. I am currently working toward earning my CFP® designation and feel incredibly grateful to be building a career in a profession that aligns so closely with my values and passions. I believe financial planning is about far more than numbers. It is about helping people align their finances with their goals, priorities, and values so they can live more intentionally and confidently.

Outside of work, I enjoy camping, dancing, traveling, and staying active with my husband, Jaden, and our dog, Cruz. Jaden and I love spending time outdoors hiking, playing soccer at the fields, and trying just about any active hobby we can find together. We value our faith and quality time with friends and family, and we are always looking for new places to explore and adventures to experience. I strive to stay curious, continue growing, and bring energy and passion into everything I do.
