I was lucky enough to be born and raised in beautiful Door County, WI, where I grew up in a large family with 4 sisters. (We didn’t fight over the bathroom…too much!) Growing up in a large family, I learned the value of a dollar at a young age.  Naturally, I was provided with the necessities of life, but I also got a job to get the things I wanted, and to pay for school, of course. I began my working career, at age 13, in the restaurant industry. I also worked in the rental, healthcare and finance industries. The part of my position within each industry that I always enjoyed the most was working with and helping others. I take great pride in treating others as I would want to be, with respect, kindness and a warm smile!

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Consumer Science with a Business Emphasis. During spring break of my senior year, I serendipitously met my husband, Robert, who was stationed with the U.S. Coast Guard in my hometown of Sturgeon Bay. His Coast Guard career took us to one coast (Maryland), back to Wisconsin, and then to the other coast (Washington). Rob retired from the Coast Guard in 2023, and after 15 years of moving around the country, we are firmly settled here in Wisconsin, enjoying retirement…just kidding, we’re too young for that just yet!

We are navigating home ownership for the first time, and the endless list of projects that come along with it, but we are grateful and take pride in being able to make it our own. In my other spare time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, trying new recipes, baking sweet treats, hiking, “beaching it” in Door County (when the weather cooperates), curling up with our cat, Pepper (aka our “fur-baby”) and a good book, or checking out the latest movie releases with my husband.

Autumn joined the Macco Financial Group Team in the summer of 2022 as a Client Service Specialist. You will likely be greeted by her on the other end of the phone line or in the lobby. She and the rest of our Client Service Specialists attend to much of the account setup and maintenance, meeting note taking, and general office duties. She strives to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. Autumn also assists with our client communications and event coordination.
